lyrics

I generalize
skies fall before they rise
collide with swollen tides
we wise, divide and conquer

the many lives
take sides as death arrives
the strong survive
be hypnotized no longer

the heads of mankind
combine their contribution
nuclear suicide
demise is no solution

surprised both sides
allied in revolution
the evolution
soothsayers retribution

you lie in liberty
you lie in death
I can't forget
can't forgive
my live and let live
just up and left

the subjects can't suppress
their souls as of yet
not lost in a bet
got sold to pay your debt

admonished, adopted conflict
my mouth agape
went to college for knowledge
now wonder: why are we so great?

did fate tie our hands
behind our back with a rack?
exporting guns
at the same time we import crack

oh say can you see
the whites of they eyes?
take an enemy by surprise

still mystified by your manner
your lies and your candor
disguised in your star spangled banter

I started screamin' at
where my people at
swing medieval axe
split your fat mellon
and tell 'em all the logistic facts

one great nation under
God never wrong
we can all get along
if we sing the same song

sound of sirens
domestic violence
statistic heightens
as the right and wrong is
ridiculed in sickly syphon

the rumbled wreckage
of Roman ruin
is doin' nothin'
collective cohesive demons
completely blunted

and runnin' reckless
the roughage rambled
the signal scrambled
the million pictures on the mantle
can't hold a candle

to all we lost in the lesson
so get the message
our last string strung out
on anti-depressants

the Lord God beckons us
we answer thus
we scandalous
my Jesus deconstruct our ediface

we climb mountains
toting flags
then we brag
but in every other it's a rag

oh say can you see
the whites of they eyes?
take an enemy by surprise

still mystified by your manner
your lies and your candor
disguised in your star spangled banter

time shifts in the glass
new fads reflect the past
surpass the generation
as sons turn into dad

the many morals had
get trashed, exchanged for cash
never outlast
the liable trial of good and bad

left your homeland
hungry, thirsty,
poor, and dirty
now we purly worldly
no longer worthy

once tyrants pushed us
'til our palms were purple
and then we rose up
but now we've come full circle

the government sets the mold
takes control
our limitless inhibitions
our rotted souls fortold

the fallen curtain
rise before my eyes
and destiny's legacy
is finally realized

from Kennedy to King
to Lenin to armeggedon
the leader of the pack gets wacked
now where we headed?

justice for all has stalled
I follow through
forgive them Lord
for they know not what they do

oh say can you see
the whites of they eyes?
take an enemy by surprise

still mystified by your manner
your lies and your candor
disguised in your star spangled banter
